Great wallpaper has really been catching my eye lately. Nowadays I think people mostly just paint, especially because it’s such a drag to put wallpaper up properly, but I think there’s a certain charm to wallpaper that you just can’t get with a solid wall. When I move to my next place I’d love to try it (if renters are allowed to do that)!
How about you – do you have wallpaper in your home? Would you consider doing it? I think even just doing an accent wall in a neat print would look smashing, as they say. Here are some patterns that I’ve been pinning on my La Maison board..

I used to think wallpaper seemed dated but I really like the idea of it in small doses – especially in more graphic prints!

Yeah I think if you are careful with what furniture you choose for that room or you choose a modern or bright pattern it can look very chic. For example modern furniture might look really great with a floral wallpaper. Wallpaper borders are also a cool option.

I’ve always planned to wallpaper a room when I finally have a house. It would be a bit overwhemling in my studio. And thinking far ahead (like really far ahead) I’ve always thought it was a sweet way to decorate a nursery, but that might be because the first bedroom I remember (in Ohio) had really pretty pink vintagey wallpaper.

I also was not into the whole wallpaper thing but there are some great examples! I think small doses and creative prints are the way to go. I really dig the bathroom image.
